How exciting! Now I bet you want to know when your furniture will arrive.
When you place your order with us, you’ll be given an approximate timescale for its arrival. Once your items then arrive in our warehouse, we will contact you to arrange the delivery and where possible we will deliver on the first van available in your area. If any unforeseen circumstances arise we’ll be sure to keep you informed.
It can be awkward getting rid of old furniture, especially without a large vehicle on hand. We offer an optional furniture removal service, the cost is £40 for a bed and £50 for a sofa, this is to cover our pick-up and disposal costs.
If the items are in good condition, complete, work correctly and have a fire label attached, then charities such as the British Heart Foundation can may also collect your old furniture. Find your local collection or drop-off point here.

Yes we do! Our estimator Derek, is highly experienced and we will arrange for him to visit your property to obtain all the measurements required. Derek was a fitter before and will be able to highlight any issues that need to be addressed during the visit. He will look at ways to minimise wastage from the flooring products you have chosen, ensuring that you get the best value for money.
This is also a great opportunity to ask questions/advice on underlay, skirting board positioning, door heights, screed floor covering and door bars etc.
Yes, you will need to clear your room before fitting unless you have arranged to use our furniture removal and carpet uplift service.
If you have requested that we move the furniture for you, please ensure ornaments, drawer and cupboard contents are safely removed.
The price for removal of carpets is based upon a square metre price, plus a fixed disposal fee of £30 per room with the number of pieces to be moved varying the furniture cost.
Charges for these optional services can be discussed when selecting your flooring and will be clearly shown on your quotation. A price of £100 would be a rough estimate of a 20m2 room with furniture removal.
Fitting charges will be clearly stated on your quotation.
Fitting charges are usually paid directly to the fitter on the day of installation, except in the case of click-flooring solutions or plyboard work which is undertaken by our joiner.
Where an inclusive offer is available, a discount equal to the standard fitting charge will be applied to your invoice, with fitting fee then made directly to the fitter on the day of install.
Delivery & Returns
If you wish to return your goods it is your responsibility to take good care of the furniture. You will be the owner of the furniture once it has been delivered to you and you are liable for any loss or damage during this time. Failure to take reasonable care may result in a claim against you. To minimise the risk of any such claim we ask that you return the goods in appropriate packaging such as to prevent damage in transit.
For hygiene reasons all mattresses will be delivered sealed in clear plastic wrapping that will allow for inspection before use. Any mattresses that have been unwrapped will be deemed as having been used. Therefore they cannot be returned for any reason other than because they are not as described or are not of satisfactory quality.
Please note that this only applies to items that are not custom-made or you have not examined the product in one of our showrooms.
Custom-made furniture, or items that have been manufactured to your specification are non-returnable. This includes items such as sofas, built with your choice of fabric or legs with the exception of manufacturer faults or defects. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
The last thing we want to happen when you order new furniture is that it doesn’t fit or you can’t get it through entrance ways. We can’t advise enough that you take the time to measure your space thoroughly and consider how you will get your furniture into your home. If you have any concerns please raise them with us before ordering so that we can explore possible solutions, if required our experienced delivery team could pop out to inspect access routes.
It is the customer’s final responsibility to ensure that your new furniture will fit into your home. If it is not possible to install all or selected items of furniture, we will endeavour to find a solution to exchange the order for furniture that will install more easily.
All cases are with dealt with on a case by case basis and at the discretion of the Managing Director in the hope of finding an alternative to the cancellation of the order. If cancellation results, a charge of 25% of the purchase price will be deducted from any refund to cover delivery costs and allow us to sell on the item.
Blinds
Absolutely, why is it always when you just sit down that you realise that you need to get back up again to close the blinds!
The most commonly used is the One Touch Applicator; it has a motor in the headrail that you can control by remote control, it is supplied with a charger, however there are also options for hardwiring and solar power.
These types of blinds get called all sorts of things by retailers including; Night & Day blinds, Duo Roller Blinds, Double Roller Blinds and Two Tone blinds making it fairly confusing!
Here at Millers Interiors, we call them Duo Roller Blinds. They operate similarly to a roller blind but have alternating strips of sheer and solid fabric that allow you to vary that amount of light that you want to flow through. Ideal if you want to enjoy natural light but with an element of privacy.
Yes, using our Perfect Fit or Intu applications. These are fitted with brackets to the bead of the windows.
These solutions will allow you to maintain a valid warranty for newly installed windows; but are also great for tilt & turn windows.

Fitted Wardrobes
A fitted wardrobe is a storage solution that is built into the wall of your room and cannot be moved. It can be custom built to best fit your room and storage requirements; selecting door fronts to match your home decor.
Through clever design the wardrobe will feel like part of the wall. This helps a room feel more spacious with storage tucked away neatly behind an attractive frontage.
