Just like our homes, carpets come in all shapes and sizes
Is your patience wearing as thin as your carpet?
Dated or stained carpets are unsightly blights stopping your home looking its best and replacing them can make an immediate impact on the look and feel of your property.
Whether you want to create a warm and cosy atmosphere with deep, plush carpets, or prefer a sleek, modern (and easy to clean) look in your home, we can supply and fit all types of carpets from major brands with friendly, local staff and a personal service.
What to consider when ordering a carpet from Millers
- Do you prefer wool or man-made fibres?
- What type of carpet pile do you like the look of? Loop, Saxony, Twist, Textured, Frieze, Velvet cut etc.
- What room are you redecorating?
- What is the traffic like in this room of your house?
- Do you have pets, or young children?
- Do you want to make a statement with your carpet? Or do you want to provide a neutral setting for the room?
How you answer these considerations will help guide your decision making and cut down the confusion you could face when buying a new carpet.

How much does a carpet from Millers cost?
At Millers, you can expect to pay around £12 – £35 per square metre for a man-made carpet, and around £18 – £60 per square metre for a woollen carpet. Although, we do have man-made carpets available from as low as £6.99 per square metre.
We always recommend when fitting your desired carpet, that you install new underlay so as to protect the longevity of your carpet while also providing a more luxurious feeling underfoot, not to mention the heat retention benefits. We have a range of qualities available to suit your budget, but industry wide prices are between £3.50 and £14 per square metre for underlay.

The team at Millers were so understanding, they listened to my problems and were so accommodating when it came to working alongside the new tradesmen. My house is fairly open plan with oak doors and a matching central staircase, I was confused about what to do with colours as I couldn’t seem to find a match. Gary came out one evening with a selection of contrasting colours and helped me through the process
